Lots happening this weekend. On Saturday you can get in free to the Bailey/Matthews Shell Museum in celebration of their 19th birthday. Saturday morning is also the Trash and Treasure sale at the Island Senior Center on Library Way. Sunday morning is the Farmers Market and then you can go over to the Taste of the Islands at the Dunes. Weather looks good so it should be a fun weekend. Enjoy it.
Sundays Taste of the Islands at the Dunes has been postponed one week. I guess they are predicting rain for this Sunday so moved it to November 16. See you there!
Sanibel residents are welcome to attend a reception celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the City of Sanibel’s incorporation to be held at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 4th, 2014, at City Hall, 800 Dunlop Road. Normally Wildlife Drive in Ding Darling is closed on Fridays. But tomorrow it will be open to bikers and walkers as part of the Ding Darling Days activities. Great opportunity for birding animal viewing without all the vehicular traffic.
